Snapshots | 2012

There were so many other moments I wanted to share in this post, but it probably would have just become obnoxious at that point. Still, 2012 was such a great year for me! I met some awesome people and shared some amazing experiences. It had lots of ups and a few downs, but I think I did it right. Now 2013 is here and I'm terrified (graduating college, eeek), but hey, bring it on! See you all next year!

To Me, From Me

{ Agaci sweater | F21 pants | GoJane boots | Target clutch | necklace c/o Very Jane }

I try my best not to shop for myself during the holidays, but it was difficult ignoring a sweater this cute. I mean, just look at it. I attempted to throw hints at my mom about how it would make a nice Christmas present, but the "um, no" look on her face confirmed my decision to just buy it myself. Ya can't win 'em all.

If you were or still am like me and have always wanted a bubble necklace, you're in luck! Very Jane is giving away THREE bubble necklaces (like the one I'm wearing above) to THREE lucky winners, color of your choice! The giveaway ends on Monday, so enter now while you still can!

Petal Pusher

{ Old Navy tee | Wet Seal jeans & blazer | Target heels & bag | F21 bracelet | vintage watch/rings }

These floral jeans have been sitting in my closet for months waiting patiently for fall to arrive. Then when fall actually came, they had to wait even longer as it was still way too hot to cover up my legs. These were sad times.

But this glorious day has finally come! For some reason I deemed it appropriate to pair my floral textured blazer with these pants as well. Perhaps this outfit was better suited for spring, but my love for floral jeans and wanting to show them off just could not be contained!

Remix Roundup | Tan Striped Shorts

1. Three Prints + Three Excuses 2. Jumping the Gun
3. Capitol Couture 4. See Ya Next Fall

I bought these shorts at Forever 21 almost two years ago, and they're probably one of the most used pieces in my closet. Vertical stripes have such a cool, slimming effect, and the fact that they're high-waist just makes them even more awesome! Which look is your favorite?

Please be sure to enter the Shabby Apple $50 gift card
giveaway before Wednesday! :)

Yes-Brainer

{ F21 top, belt, hat, & rings | Target skirt | Steve Madden wedges | gifted clutch }

You would think a black maxi-skirt would be a no-brainer in terms of styling, but it actually required more brain power than I had originally planned on using. I'm not sure if it's because of the material or the fact that I feel it clinging to all the wrong places, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

You may be thinking, "why did you buy it then?" Well folks, when Target offers you 75% off an already marked-down price on something, you just can't say no. Believe me, I tried.
